ChronosHub - streamlining open access management: Romy Beard

Hosted by Martin Delahunty

The guest for this week’s INSPIRING STEM PODCAST episode is Romy Beard, a publishing consultant with 17 years’ experience and specialising in publisher relations and content licensing on behalf of publishers, aggregators, libraries and consortia, and technology companies.

She is currently working on a long-term project with open access management platform ChronosHub, and recently completed a project with Jisc on the new UK Research and Innovation open access policy and spent 7 years as Licensing Programme Manager for EIFL, a charity working with libraries and consortia in developing and transition economy countries.

We discuss some of the challenges to libraries, publishers and authors in navigating the new open science workflows, policies and practices.

You can hear more from Romy and ChronosHub if you are attending the UKSG 45th Annual Conference or the Society for Scholarly Publishing 44th Annual Meeting
